My Kingdom For A Sketchbook by Nii Yartey

It has been a few months since I've opened my most recent sketch books. I was looking through them trying to find the pages where I wrote down my project plans,  and in the process found some old sketches I hadn't seen in a while.

My sketchbooks are a chronology of my ideas, creativity levels, and my skill. They're also in a visual code that only makes sense to me; instructions on anything from geopolitics to dance.  I drew my final master's paper long before I ever converted it to words.

These sketchbooks aren't my everything,  but almost everything is in them. Without them, I am unable to be the best photographer I can be. Likewise,  I'm a rather poor philosopher without them.
